Hmmm...

Best use of keyboards/synth in rock that is not "gay", may well be Spinal Tap. I personally don't appreciate much of the synth/keyboarding, but... The Doors. The Grundles. The act of using the keyboard/synth is not gay in itself, but can be used for evil.

A board with a nail through it can be used to smite ones enemies, it can also be used to build a house. Or left on the ground where some kid may step on it and get tetanus.

SHe's not all that sexy. Not at all anymore actually. IT's all part of a tapestry of ass snorting blow I'm creating ,mixed with the idea of her relative sex appeal which I'm sure is behind most Republican males support of her. I think fantasies such as the above have been rampant since august. Just had to switch up the liberal conservative thing to play on that difference and make it part of the cheapness and superficiality of her inclusion on the ticket.

Thanks for stopping by and we here at Dead Air look forward to more comments from good strangers such as yourself sir.

Yeah but I wanted to feel good about things since I know it'll change and there's only so much Obama can do. THe other side of the warm election night feelings was the fact that if we had a decent economy it might not have happened and Sarah Palin would be PResident within a few years. Hell she still may be I guess. In four anyway. If that happens I join a militia and start going all kinds of Project Mayhem on this countries ass.

But on the flip side there was a time even a bad economy wouldn't have been nearly enough to give a black man a chance at the PResidency. So the fact that it wasn't much of an issue was nice.

Not usre I'd categorize all the good ones as Dems. Lincoln was a R. I like the fact that upwards of a year ago when I had read Doris Kearns Goodwin Team Of Rivals I was pulling comparisons to the way I thought Obama would govern if given the chance out of my ass and now that were hear he's following the Lincoln blueprint. Now if you watch enough news shows the very term Team Of Rivals is being used ad naseum and we're finding out BO has been reading it and much other lincoln stuff. SO I got to pat myself on the back for seeing that one coming and recognizing the character of the man a long time ago. WHich I might add I called on Bush's character from day 1 also.

Mmmmmm, turned on by stupidity. Except for the fact i am not remotely turned on by her, that was horribly sexy. And for the record, no. Not at all turned on. I feel for her what i would feel if McCain pointed to a cancerous lung and said it was his new VP candidate and everyone said it was sexy. I feel like the last normal wife in Stepford when people say how hot she is. The only thing that makes the metaphor more complete would be if the cancerous lung thought it was sexy and tried to act sexy for the camera while chanting "maverick, maverick, maverick."

I myself do not. Not that i am in some freakish inexplicable way unhappy at the way it played out. Trust that i was one of the folks pushing over the visage of Emperor Palpatine after the Imperials were defeated at Endor ending the Galactic Civil War. My strife is not so mundane or vapid.

My disdain for this country or ex-British colony, is our lack of consistency. It is understandable that we may elect the occasional dullard, idiot or even legally retarded into our highest office. After 40-something i'd say its good odds. But it is apparently not enough that we elected one, but the same one twice in a row becoming the laughing stock of the fucking free world.

I use the 2000 election as a marker being the first election i could actually vote in and i am sure this is not what Meatloaf meant when he said "2 outta 3 aint bad". I hate to put too fine a point on it but when is everyone going to realize that the good Presidents were open minded, educated Democrats and the assholes were war mongering greedy xenophobes. It is not that hard to spot the black hats.

To sum up, i hate the lack of foresight in this country. I laugh when some ignoramus says "if you don't like it get out". The problem is that i do like this country and a crappy leader is crappy whether i am here or not.

if youve got a qwerty keyboard i expect more texts now. maybe i can include you in the andy samberg texting circle that consists of myself, coley, and our friend kyle texting random SNL digital short references (ie, "PUNCHED!!!" or "you play the jews, I can be your Jim Caviezel") to keep ourselves from g oing mad during a boring workday.

looking to get a qwerty phone as i seem to only text people these days. talking and having real human interaction is too much work, and too painful.

You would have been better off at Tom's service, sounds like. It was really very nice, and there was some Beatles music being played. You like the Beatles. I'll tell you more about that (the service, not the Beatles) later.

Haven't heard any new Metallica. I may give it a whirl based on your recommendations. Not that you actually recommended it.

I've been saying some of that Palin stuff for awhiles. I don't trust McCain to live another 4-8 years and this is a woman who can see Russia from her house. Okay, that's not a quote... but still.

And I want that T-Shirt too.
