A Little Haiku Action

Because I’m tired of Tuesdayfunk sitting at the top of the page, I haiku. Or maybe I should put it this way:
Tuesdayfunk still there
Make it go away with words
Set syllabically

Snubbed near the fresh fruit
Dead end in the produce aisle
She shops not for me.

Serendipity
Lost causes look to stars
Darwin rules us all

Up around the bend
See the hope in my blue eyes
Cheney shot my face

Opening day here
Hope springs eternal in all
Cheney shoots but one

Who will win the race?
Possibilities galore
They blew it all up

All but me go cell
Tiny phones for everyone
Cancer of the ear

Shadows in vast space
Stained glass hides the light away
Empty majesty

Pizza lasts for days
Our lives go on forever
We’re our own toppings

Patterns repeating
Disappointment follows Mets
My advice ignored
